Setting Up Your First Client
Clients in Rev Forge represent the businesses you manage sales for. Each client gets their own pipeline, contacts, campaigns, and reporting.
Creating a Client
- Click Clients in the sidebar
- Click the Add Client button
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name — the client’s business name
- Industry — helps with AI-generated content
- Website — used for company enrichment
- Click Create
Configuring the Pipeline
Each client has a lead pipeline with stages. The defaults are:
| Stage | Purpose |
|---|---|
| New | Freshly captured leads |
| Contacted | Initial outreach made |
| Qualified | Confirmed as a good fit |
| Proposal | Proposal or quote sent |
| Won | Deal closed successfully |
| Lost | Did not convert |
To customize stages:
- Go to the client’s Settings tab
- Under Pipeline Stages, add, remove, or reorder stages
- Changes apply to new leads — existing leads keep their current stage
Importing Contacts
To import existing contacts into your new client:
- Go to the client’s Contacts tab
- Click Import
- Upload a CSV file with columns for name, email, phone, company
- Map your CSV columns to Rev Forge fields
- Review the preview and click Import
Adding Team Access
Control which team members can work on this client:
- Go to the client’s Settings → Access tab
- Add team members and set their permission level
- Members only see clients they’ve been granted access to
