Email Integration

Connect your Gmail or Outlook account to send, receive, and track emails directly within Rev Forge. All email activity is automatically logged on the relevant lead, deal, or contact.

Connecting Your Email

Gmail

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Email
  2. Click Connect Gmail
  3. Sign in with your Google account
  4. Grant the requested permissions (read, send, and manage email)
  5. Your account appears as connected

Outlook

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Email
  2. Click Connect Outlook
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account
  4. Grant the requested permissions
  5. Your account appears as connected

Sending Email

Once connected, send emails from Rev Forge:

  1. Open a lead, deal, or contact
  2. Click Send Email in the activity panel
  3. Compose your message (or use a template)
  4. The email is sent from your connected account — recipients see your real email address

Email Sync

Rev Forge syncs emails from your connected account:

  • Incoming emails are matched to leads/contacts by email address
  • Outgoing emails sent from Rev Forge are tracked automatically
  • Emails sent outside Rev Forge (from Gmail/Outlook directly) are synced and matched

Sync runs every few minutes. You can trigger a manual sync from Settings.

Email Tracking

Track engagement on sent emails:

  • Opens — see when and how many times an email was opened
  • Link clicks — see which links were clicked
  • Replies — reply detection with threading

Tracking data appears on the email in the activity timeline and aggregates into campaign reports.

Managing Connected Accounts

In Settings → Integrations → Email:

  • Disconnect — removes the connection and stops syncing
  • Set primary — choose which account sends by default
  • Sync status — view sync health and any errors

Tips

  • Connect your email early — historical matching improves over time
  • Use email templates for common responses to save time
  • Check the sync status if emails seem delayed
  • Review email analytics in campaign reports for engagement trends
