Leads & Pipeline

Leads represent potential sales opportunities. Rev Forge helps you track leads from initial capture through to conversion, with AI-powered scoring to prioritize your efforts.

Lead Pipeline

Pipeline View

The pipeline view shows leads organized by stage in a kanban board. Drag leads between columns to update their stage.

Pipeline Stages

Default stages: New → Contacted → Qualified → Proposal → Won / Lost

Customize stages per client in Client Settings → Pipeline. Each stage can have:

  • A name and color
  • An expected duration (for aging alerts)

Adding Leads

Manual Entry

  1. Click New Lead on the leads page
  2. Fill in contact details, company, and source
  3. The lead starts in the first pipeline stage

CSV Import

  1. Go to Leads → Import
  2. Upload a CSV file
  3. Map columns to Rev Forge fields
  4. Review and confirm the import

Web Forms

Set up capture forms that feed directly into your pipeline. See Workflows for form-to-lead automation.

Lead Scoring

Rev Forge assigns a score (0–100) based on:

  • Profile fit — how well the lead matches your ideal customer profile
  • Engagement — email opens, clicks, replies, and website visits
  • Recency — recent interactions score higher

Use scoring to focus on the leads most likely to convert. Filter by score range on the leads page.

Lead Details

Click any lead to see:

  • Contact information — name, email, phone, company
  • Activity timeline — all interactions in chronological order
  • Tasks — assigned follow-ups and their status
  • Notes and comments — team collaboration on this lead

Bulk Actions

Select multiple leads to:

  • Move to a different stage
  • Assign to a team member
  • Tag with labels for segmentation
  • Export to CSV
  • Delete (requires appropriate permissions)

Tips

  • Set up filters and save them for repeated use
  • Use tags to segment leads by campaign source or interest area
  • Check the aging indicator — leads stuck in a stage too long may need attention
